HOLY FAMILY KIDS
Where children know they are loved by God and belong to the Church.
Kids at Holy Family
Some of our kids don’t sit still. Some ask impossible questions. Some are shy, others sprint to the front. All of them are welcome. Our aim is simple: to help kids experience God’s love, be curious about the way of Jesus, and discover that church is a safe and joyful place to belong.
NURSERY
AGES 0-3 YEARS OLD
The Nursery is designed to show young children that God is love and church is a safe place. We are delighted to welcome your little one to Holy Family Episcopal Church.
Nursery check-in is easy!
Before the service begins at either 9 AM or 11 AM on Sunday, parents or caregivers check their child in at the registration table. Children can remain in the nursery for the duration of the service.
After the service, parents or caregivers bring their name tag from check-in to retrieve their child.
At Holy Family Episcopal Church, we are committed to living into our baptismal covenant by creating environments free of abuse, exploitation, and harassment through Safeguarding. Everyone who serves at Holy Family must complete the safeguarding process, which includes training, a background check, references, and a personal interview before becoming a volunteer on our kids team.
KIDS STORYTIME
AGES 3-10 YEARS OLD
During the sermon, children aged 3-10 are invited to gather together for Storytime, where they’ll hear a story that teaches them that God loves them, God is their friend forever, and God wants them to have friends.
Storytime check-in is easy!
Before the service begins at either 9 AM and 11 AM on Sunday, parents or caregivers check their child in at the registration table. Children will stay in the service with their parent or caregiver until they are invited to follow the children’s leader to the Studio for Storytime.
If a child needs help in the restroom, a volunteer will bring them to their parent or caregiver for assistance. After Storytime, children will be brought back to the main room.
Children aged ten and up are invited to participate in the service as a reader or by carrying the incense, cross, candle, or gospel book.
